Welcome to NimCade ("we", "our", or "us"). NimCade is a free-to-play mathematical strategy game based on Nim, available for Android. This Privacy Policy explains what information is collected when you use our app, why it is collected, and your rights regarding it.

By downloading or using NimCade, you agree to the practices described in this policy. If you do not agree, please uninstall the app and discontinue use.

2. Information We Collect

2.1 Information collected automatically

When you use NimCade, our third-party partners (Google) may automatically collect certain information, including:

• Device identifiers — advertising ID (GAID), device model, OS version
• Usage analytics — screens visited, game modes played, features used, session duration
• Crash reports — stack traces and device state at the time of a crash, used to fix bugs
• Ad interaction data — whether you watched a rewarded ad, dismissed it, or received a reward

2.2 Information stored locally on your device

The following data is saved only on your device (in Android SharedPreferences) and is never transmitted to our servers:

• NimCoins balance and unlocked skins
• Game difficulty level progress (VS Computer)
• Settings: music/sound preferences, selected language

2.3 Information we do NOT collect

We do not collect any of the following:

• Name, email address, or any personal identifiers
• Location data
• Contacts or files from your device
• Account or payment information (NimCade is free, no in-app purchases)

3. How We Use Information

• To show rewarded ads — watching a rewarded ad earns NimCoins in-game
• To improve the app — analytics help us understand which features are used and identify crashes
• To personalise ads — only if you consent via the GDPR consent form (EEA/UK/Switzerland users)

If you are located in the EEA, UK, or Switzerland, personalised advertising only occurs with your explicit consent. If you decline, you will still see ads but they will be non-personalised (contextual only, not targeted to you).

If you are based in the European Economic Area, United Kingdom, or Switzerland, you have the following rights under the GDPR (or equivalent local law):

6. Data Retention

Analytics and crash data collected by Firebase is retained for 60 days by default (Google's standard). Ad interaction data follows AdMob's standard retention policies. Local game data (NimCoins, settings) is stored on your device and is deleted when you uninstall the app.

7. Children's Privacy

NimCade is not directed at children under the age of 13 (or 16 in the EEA where applicable). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. The app displays rewarded advertisements powered by Google AdMob, which is not permitted for apps directed at children under COPPA or GDPR-K.

If you believe a child under the applicable age has provided personal information, please contact us so we can take appropriate action.

8. Security

We take reasonable precautions to protect information. All analytics and crash data is transmitted over HTTPS. Game progress data is stored locally on your device and is not transmitted to any server. However, no method of electronic storage or transmission is 100% secure.

9. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. For significant changes, we will note them visibly here. We encourage you to review this page periodically.

Continued use of NimCade after a policy change constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
